The "2007 Online Journalism Awards" Finalists were recently announced. And our co-chairman for this year's Beyond the Printed Word conference, Meredith Artley, Executive Editor for the Latimes.com (http://www.latimes.com/) can be proud to have joined a team which has been nominated as one of the finalists in the category "Outstanding Use of Digital Media" for : Los Angeles Times, Altered Oceans.
Since she started at the latimes.com in February this year, Meredith Artley and her team have been busy redesigning the web site and implementing new features. The local media community is carefully following her progresses...:"Traffic (Latimes.com only): Page views to prior year were up by 19%, 32% for unique visitors, and 32% for local unique visitors" according to mediabistro (http://www.mediabistro.com/fishbowlLA/newspapers/)
