Google releases Software Development Kit for Android

Good news for developers (and users, in the long run): Google has released the first version of their SDK for Android, the open-source mobile operating system planned to be launched next year. To raise the motivation, Google has set up the "Android Developer Challenge", where the best applications will be awarded a total of 10 million dollars.
